What we learned shipping Don't Touch Black on iOS and Android

Store listings, soft launches and the uncomfortable truth about our first week numbers.

Don't Touch Black — Ultimate Legacy Game launched on both stores in the same week, which in hindsight was one week too ambitious.

Our soft launch taught us three things: the tutorial needed to be 40% shorter, the first ad break was killing session length, and our icon tested terribly next to competitors.

None of it was glamorous. All of it moved the needle more than any feature we shipped that month.
